Canada’s CAs provide valuable resource to help CFOs transition to IFRS

The Chartered Accountants of Canada are providing guidance to help CFOs prepare for the transition to IFRS. The CICA has developed a publication titled “IFRS Conversions: What CFOs Need to Know and Do.” The publication provides an overview of the essential CFO role in the transition to IFRS. The document addresses three main areas of consideration for CFOs: business and financial reporting considerations; conversion and project management considerations; and risks and opportunities.
