New recreation centre gets $14.8M green light

A new recreation centre for basketball, volleyball and gymnastics got the green light on Friday with a $14.8-million funding people from the federal government. “Any day you pick up a cheque for $14 million, you’re doing really well,” said Go Community Centre project founder David Dorward [CA].
