Tax Clinic Information Session

The Institute will hold orientation sessions in  February to brief volunteers on preparing the kinds of tax returns typically seen at Tax Clinics for those who feel they would benefit from this type of session. We encourage regular tax clinic volunteers to attend the session to not only receive an update on the tax guidelines, but also to share your knowledge and experience with new volunteers.

The Edmonton session will be instructed by Hugh Neilson FCA TEP from Ernst & Young LLP Chartered Accountants in Edmonton. Hugh is also an instructor for the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and Saskatchewan CPD program, and has presented at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' National Conference on Income Tax. The Calgary session will be instructed by Sean Johnson CA, Director, Professional Services with the ICAA.
