The ICAA Media Kit, published in the Spring of 2010, is an official introduction to the Alberta CA profession. CAs are known for their financial expertise, strategic thinking and decision-making, business insight and leadership skills-but they are also much more than "bean counters". They are also known for dedicating time to volunteering in their communities. From coaching youth sports to providing insight on charitable committees and boards, one doesn’t have to look far to see the impact of CAs on their communities.

As the Alberta CA profession’s non-profit foundation, CAEF supports post-secondary institutions, students, accounting educators and thought leadership initiatives. Through the contributions of Alberta’s CAs, in addition to other generous donations, the CAEF has been able to donate over $10 million towards accounting education since it’s inception in 1982.
