Program Agenda

General Session: Panel Discussion 8:15 am – 10:00 am

“Be it resolved that we have reached a point in our province’s economic history where steady, if not spectacular, increases in prosperity are no longer a given. Threats in the external environment, and internal weaknesses, mean that we are in for a slow growth, if not a no growth period. We need to immediately develop plans for a leaner, meaner future. There is some tough slogging ahead for our economy, for our industries, for government and for our environment.” In this panel discussion, leaders from various industries will be giving their point of view from their field of expertise as to what the plan for Albertans should be to continue to succeed and grow.
