• What do I do if I arrive and there isn’t an On-site Administrator?

  If  you arrive and there is no on-site administrator, please contact our Program Planning Administrator- Sherry Dowhaniuk at: 780-420-2369.

• What do I do if I arrive and the Facility isn’t open?

  If you arrive to a locked facility, and do not see any of the hotel staff, please call our Program Planning Administrator-Sherry Dowhaniuk at: 780-420-2369. 

• What do I do if I am ill and cannot instruct that day?

  Due to the logistics of contacting participants the day of a seminar, the ICAA would ask that as soon as you feel that you are too sick to instruct your scheduled seminar, to immediately contact Kathryn Peartree-Manager- Member Education at 780-420-2366 or by e-mail at: k.peartree@icaa.ab.ca.

• Who should I contact in case of an emergency?

  If the emergency is facility related, please alert hotel staff, who are trained in the proper response. If it is a personal emergency, or one that concerns the ICAA, please contact Kathryn Peartree-Manager member Education at 780-420-2366, or by e-mail at: k.peartree@icaa.ab.ca

• Where and to whom do I send the participant evaluations?

  Included with all on-site material is a self-addressed, postage paid envelope. The instructor is asked to please gather all the participant evaluations at the end of the seminar, and put them in the envelope and place in the post.   

• Where and to whom do I send the instructor evaluation?

  Included with all on-site material is a self-addressed, postage paid envelope. The instructor is asked to please place the instructor evaluation in the envelope and place in the post, along with the participant evaluations.

• Am I responsible for media setup like bringing a laptop?

  Instructors are responsible for bringing a laptop computer but all other audio/visual (AV) equipment is provided by the ICAA.

• Will I be responsible for setting up the AV that day?

  The AV company - Inland is responsible for setting up the AV but you will need to set up your laptop and Inland will assist in attached your laptop to the projector.

• For payment, do I need to send an invoice once the course(s) are complete?

  Please send an invoice after you have instructed. We prefer that if you are instructing multiple seminars to invoice once a week and also to ensure that you indicate on the invoice the title, city and date of the seminar that you are invoicing for.
