CPACanada.ca

On January 17, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) released a national unification framework. The unification framework provides the general tenets of a potential merger of the CA, CMA, and CGA bodies, and addresses some of the concerns brought forth by CAs across Canada during the consultation period. For more information, visit www.CPACanada.ca, or the "Uniting the Canadian Accounting Profesion" page on the ICAA website. If you would like to provide further feedback to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, please email us at feedback@icaa.ab.ca.

Employment Postings

The ICAA has launched a new Employment Opportunities webpage. This updated service includes job postings for CAs and CA students. This board has been created to serve CAs and CA students from Alberta and across Canada, as well as new and arriving Canadians and those training abroad. Creation of this service was funded by a grant from the Government of Alberta’s Foreign Qualification Recognition Innovation Fund.
