'Bridges to the Future'

As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, the Foundation not only wanted to recognize 25 years of achievement but was looking for a significant way to build the profession for the future.

One of the top priorities for the profession in Alberta is ensuring there are enough CAs to meet the current and future demands for the kind of expertise that only CAs can bring to Alberta’s growth and prosperity. To help achieve this goal, the CAEF created a special 25th anniversary project.

“Bridges to the Future” aimed to create educational streams for foreign-trained candidates and for people in other careers who are looking to become CAs. People in those situations often need to put their careers on hold, quit their jobs, or jump from post-secondary institution to post-secondary institution in order to get the university prerequisites they need to enter the CASB program in Alberta.
