Over the last 25 years, the CAEF has contributed over $10 million toward accounting education. This significant accomplishment would not have been possible without the support and contributions from our donors.

The Foundation has the proven ability to truly make a significant difference and it is our responsibility to continue supporting education to ensure there are enough quality CAs and business leaders to meet the current and future demands in Alberta.

How to Make a Difference

There are several different opportunities for people to contribute to the future of the CA profession:

• You can support the scholarships, awards and bursaries offered through the CAEF that assist high school, post-secondary and CASB students across the province;
• You can help sponsor case competitions, conference, and guest lectures;
• You can donate to the PhD Support program to enable individuals to obtain their doctoral degree in accounting, where they will move on to become educators of the next generation of CAs; and,
• You can support funding to assist post-secondary institutions in delivering quality accounting education through operational support, professorships and teaching or research grants.

Please Note: Our online donation system requires donors to have a log-in profile. If you’re a current ICAA member, you will already have a profile and password. If you’re not an ICAA member, you will be asked to create a profile before making your donation. This profile provides the Foundation with the information it needs to properly record your donation and issue you a charitable receipt. The information you provide remains strictly confidential.
