Message from the Chair

Whether supporting educators, students, or post-secondary institutions, all of
the Foundation’s activities are aimed at achieving a common goal: to support business education in Alberta and grow the CA profession. I am truly honoured to be serving as Chair of the Chartered Accountants Education Foundation of Alberta’s (CAEF) Board of Governors. The Foundation has made significant strides over the past few years in its mission to strengthen the profession’s relationships with students, educators and post-secondary institutions of Alberta. To all of our supporters, our heartfelt thanks for helping us to achieve this success.

Each year, the Foundation receives contributions from the Alberta CAs, as well as additional donations from members of the community.  These generous contributions help us to promote the excellence of the CA brand and attract the very best and the brightest to the CA profession. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $11 million in support toward business and accounting education in the province – an accomplishment of which all Alberta CAs and donors should be proud.

It is an exciting time to be involved in the Foundation.  As a CA, I am happy to have this opportunity to give back to the profession. I encourage all CAs to continue supporting the CAEF so that we can keep making a difference.
