Mature Student Status

If you do not hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, you may be eligible to register under the Mature Student category for the CA School of Business. Under this category, individuals need to meet the following criteria:

• Five years of relevant business experience, or a combination of business experience (two years minimum) and full-time post-secondary education (up to three of five years)
• GMAT score of 550 or higher
• Secure employment with an approved CA Training Office

Individuals are still required to meet the 12 business and accounting prerequisite courses as part of the entrance requirements for the CA School of Business.

*Prior experience will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Experience used for mature student eligibility purposes cannot be applied against the practical experience requirement of the CASB program.
