2010 Centennial

This year marks a very special milestone for the Chartered Accountants of Alberta. Throughout 2010, the ICAA is celebrating 100 years of dedication to protecting the public, providing accounting and business excellence, and adding value to Alberta’s communities through volunteering.

This section of the ICAA website includes information about the Alberta CA profession’s past—including details about former Council Presidents and the history of the Institute—as well as current initiatives to promote the centennial throughout the year. This centennial year presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate this milestone with members and external stakeholders, including the general public.

This website will be updated regularly with more information about all of the ICAA’s centennial initiatives.

Centennial Logo

It is with great pleasure that we present to you the ICAA’s official 2010 centennial logo.

Throughout 2010, the Institute will be highlighting the profession’s ongoing dedication to protecting the public, providing accounting and business excellence, and adding value to Alberta’s communities through volunteering. This dedication is symbolically depicted through the ICAA’s official logo, which shows a flame rising and expanding. The flames also represent a light that illuminates both the Alberta profession’s history and exciting future.

There will be two versions of the logo, one with the “Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta” tag line, and one without. The former is designed as a standalone piece, while the latter will be used in conjunction with the traditional corporate brand logo.

These logos will appear in many of the ICAA’s publications and marketing materials throughout the year.
